Not the most inspiring section of the Gloucestershire Way, but we got Section 5 completed nevertheless (from Over to Innsworth, 12 km). Some busy roads, a polluted section of the River Severn, some barren agricultural wasteland and a golf course… To top it up, I got bitten by an aggressive dog!
Slightly surreal for a long distance trail but it is just a part of it... there were plenty of flowers and budding trees to enjoy though. And the rain held off till we got to the car! 🌿 #gloucestershireway #longdistancetrail #gloucestershire #thegreatoutdoors
