Gloucestershire Way - Section 6

Gloucestershire Way, Section 6 today… (Innsworth to Crickley Hill, 12.4 km) 🌿 It was a transition section between the Severn Vale and the Cotswold Hills. We skirted along Gloucestershire Airport and dipped into beautiful gems dotted around the countryside such as the village of Badgeworth and various creeks, farms and impressive trees… The section ended with panoramic vistas back toward May Hill and the Forest of Dean, which provided a real sense of the distances we have walked so far! 6 sections done, 6 to go...

AJ Bell Bristol Half Marathon 2023

I completed my 2nd ever Half Marathon in Bristol today. Training didn’t go as planned (with a back injury; away on holiday; bitten by a dog; too many rainy nights; off sick with this covid/flu thing and overall low in energy!) and I certainly felt it! It was a tough event and I had to walk a few short inclines during the last 3km... but I pushed through and managed a time of 02:13:55… As last year, there was an amazing atmosphere along the route! #greatrun #greatrunbristol #halfmarathon
