Ben Lawers, Scotland

On our recent trip to Loch Tay in Scotland, we decided to walk at least one 'Munro' (mountains over 3000 ft/915 m). So we ended up doing Ben Lawers (1214 m) and because of the ascent route we took, we ended up going over Beinn Ghlas too (1103 m) - another Munro! Ben Lawers also happens to be the 10th highest mountain in the whole of the UK! Despite the weather forecast predicting low cloud, it turned out to be glorious sunshine which gave us views all the way to Ben Nevis! And of course, we finished with a pint by the fire in the pub...
